Progress update and BfO PDFs!
over 4 years ago – Sat, Sep 05, 2020 at 10:39:48 AM

It's been a busy but productive month. There are only about 6 or 7 surveys left and I have been going through the surveys I have in. I'm just about through all of them so if you see an email from piratepressgames @gmail, it's probably me with a question about your survey.

I've gotten a handful of questions from backers new to the setting about the original Battle for Oz PDF. That is #1 on my list and though its taken me longer to verify the surveys than I hoped, I'm on track to have the first round of PDFs sent out on Monday the 7th. Thanks for your patience.

The book is coming along nicely. I'm still waiting on some contributor content but I am still on track to have it ready for my layout artist by November. As soon as I lock in all of the surveys I can order the bennies and dice. I've got about half of the custom dice rollers printed and ready to ship for my contributor backers. As always, don,t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Contributor Backers UPDATE!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Aug 10, 2020 at 10:00:53 AM

I completed my tester print of the Skull Island Dice Roller. The good news, it looks AMAZING!! The bad news, it rolls dice like crap!! Unfortunately, the dice kept getting hung up around the inside of the eye and nose holes and when it did actually roll out, it would roll out off the dice trey and onto the table. I tend to want my dice rollers to actually, umm.... roll dice well, so I am scrapping this design.

I am switching to a design I have used myself, the Oz Tower dice roller. It looks great, it's a one-piece dice roller, and it rolls awesome! I am printing a test of it now in a cool metal rainbow color PLA. I plan to switch to this design UNLESS you really want the Skull Island dice roller despite its failings as a dice roller, just email me your preference and I will send you it instead.
